CNC conversion for the X2D mini mill, done properly: ball screws on all three axes, angular-contact bearings in machined drive plates, and closed-loop motion. Choose the $549 machined-parts kit, step up to the mechanical or electronics kit, or order a complete CNC mill, assembled and ready to run.

Built like a real machine

Every part of the motion system is upgraded, from the screws to the controller.

Precision ball screws

Ball screws with ball nuts on all three axes: SFU1204 on X, SFU1605 on Y and Z. Shaft couplers and all fasteners included.

Kit B and up

Closed-loop steppers

Three closed-loop NEMA 23 3.0 N·m steppers with encoders, driven by CL57T drivers.

Kit C and up

Bearings in the plates

Angular-contact bearing pairs, back-to-back (7000AC on X, 7201AC on Y and Z), seated directly in the machined drive plates. No bolt-on bearing block.

Ethernet SmoothStepper

Warp9 Ethernet SmoothStepper with a C25XP breakout, ready for Mach4. Includes homing sensors, E-stop, limit switches and a tool-touch probe.
